Dressing Up for Work

Attending any costume parties this week? Does your workplace get in on the Halloween fun? Maine clothing retailer A. H. Benoit did back in 1928. The image below, taken on October 30 at the Portland store, is well worth “zooming” into in the Maine Memory record to see the range of characters (some less politically correct than others) and impressive attention to design and detail.

See if you can spot a chef, a matador, two brides, a pirate, two jesters, a cowboy, and a clown. Meanwhile, have a safe and happy Halloween.
