Look what the Leprechauns discovered during their mischievous midnight melee in Maine Memory Network!

“The Wearing of the Green” is a St. Patrick’s Day greeting card produced before World War I, when an embargo on German-made postcards went into effect around 1914. The card dates to around 1910.

The artist was a woman by the unforgettable name of Ellen H. Clapsaddle.

Whether or not you are of Gaelic origin, may you and yours have the luck of the Irish today!
